We recently brought a large group of students from three different schools to Activate as an end-of-the-year team bonding experience, and it was such a great experience for everyone involved. Elijah and Angel were incredibly helpful, organized, and welcoming throughout the visit. They made sure our large group was taken care of and helped everything run smoothly. The students had an amazing time, loved the activities, and are already asking to go back. Highly recommend for school groups, team bonding, or any large group outing. 5 stars experience we would definitely go again!

Activate in Oxnard is one of the most fun and unique experiences I’ve had in a while. It’s not your typical arcade. Everything is interactive and actually gets you moving, which makes it way more exciting.

They have a ton of different game modes like Hoops, Strike, Control, Laser, Grid, Press, Scan, Portals, and Hide, plus larger rooms like Mega Laser and Mega Grid that feel more intense and competitive. My personal favorites were Maze Laser and Trivia Hoops. Maze Laser honestly made me feel like I was in a spy movie, trying to move quickly without messing up. Trivia Hoops was surprisingly challenging because even if you know the answer, you still have to make the shot under pressure.

I went with just one other person, and it was still a great time, but I can tell this place would be even better with a full group of five. I like that you can either compete against each other or work together as a team, so it works for different vibes.

The staff was really friendly and made everything easy to understand. The place has AC, but you will definitely start sweating after a few games, so wearing something comfortable helps. They also have free lockers, water fountains, and restrooms, which makes it easy to just focus on playing.

One thing I didn’t get to try was Portals, so I already want to go back just for that. They also have a reward system where you earn tokens as you play, which you can use toward prizes, so it gives you something extra to work for.

Overall, this place is just a really good time. It’s active, competitive, and different from anything else around here. Definitely worth checking out, especially with a group.

This place is a blast. Clean, and super cool-looking inside. Felt like I was totally somewhere ~else~. The games are easy to jump into and my friends and I were all screaming and laughing slamming into walls, it was great. You’ll want to move quickly to get the most of your hour. We got pretty sweaty too! But you can also play more chill games to cool down.

Customer service was stellar. All the workers were friendly and eager to help. You can tell they’re all passionate about the gaming. Will definitely be coming here again.
